I am a greenkeeper, and gotta say shouting fore is usually pointless. most of the times we have machines running ear defenders on or machines elsewhere create too much noise for us to hear the golfer shout. Trick is to pay attention! and hope the golfers point or signal if its at you. Under no circumstances should you park directly behind a green, what Mark does is good, no blame attached

We do in the rest of the world too. He used a visual gesture because he wouldn't have heard him due to engine noise, earplugs, etc.

Mark didn't need to yell "Fore!" anyways. The greenskeeper couldn't have possibly heard him over the motor running, and they normally wear noise cancelling muffs or ear plugs.

Mark Crossfield You really need to put your game golf in the front Mark. You're holding up play with it on your backside. :-)) I'm right handed as well, and I put mine just to the right of my belt buckle. It doesn't get in my way at all, and I'm quite comfortable with it there. Try it and let us know how it feels in that location.

Not hitting it no, it's part of the course so you play from where it lands. Had it landed on and stayed on the buggy (almost impossible I'd say) then yes....free drop I believe.
