I understand. The forward angled lever on pedals coupled with the short/medium beater length and over compressed spring tension allows for minimum effort allowing for very tight digital sounding hits, the more robot the feet are, the more you don’t have to think about feet and can be more free with the hand work to fill in the space that that the footwork is giving the space. although when you are playing at slower pace it looks awkward because you’d naturally want to play with more power playing slower 16th notes which the pedal settings aren’t good for so you have to really focus on not fucking that up. It’s like trying to punch someone at the halfcocked starting position. I also have the trick Pro v1’s but I could never find the sweet spot and I tried many different beaters and beater lengths with and without the weights on them.
