Great use of arpeggio in that middle section! Also, the harmonics at the end suit the song well. Marie is a lucky woman, because you are off the charts!!!

Blyton's piece is in the form of "4 Variations - Theme - 4 more Variations". The theme, which is quite lovely, is a guitar adaptation of his own song-setting of Percy Bysshe Shelley's poem "To The Moon", which was originally scored for high voice and string quartet. It is recorded on an all-Blyton CD, "Carey Blyton: The Guitar Music", with solos and duets recorded by the Hand-Dupre Duo. Apollo Sound LC 0060.
