I actually got taken in by one of these kiosks years ago, one girl called me over and the other goes "just give her a chance" when I hesitated. And I sat down, got my hair straightened for the very first time and spent waaaaaay too much money on a flat iron. And to this day, it's still the best one I have, lol, chipped plate and all. Somehow it works the best of all the flat irons I've bought.

The kiosk itself had those pictures of Jose Eber in the cowboy hat as advertising, but nothing they sold was anything of his, nothing I saw had his name on it. As a clueless 7 year old child I sat down in that seat ready to have my hair curled even though my mother was trying to pull me away.
