This video was made during a trip Around Spitsbergen. Of course, we can never guarantee that you will get to see the same locations and animals, because that depends on weather and ice conditions.

What are the seas like in terms of choppiness? I really want to see the island but I'm a bit apprehensive abut spending a week on a boat. Also have you heard of any trips that offer deep sea fishing around Svalbard?

Well, as our cruises are around Svalbard, and along the North coast of Svalbard, we sail near the shores of the islands. We don't cross the oceans in this case. In most cases we sail in calm waters, and you make landings everyday. We do not offer fishing on our trips.

Well yes, the Dutch name is Spitsbergen, and The Norwegian name is Svalbard, and Svalbard is part of Norway.
