Bandamena is an afro-fusion track, a mixture of Namibian rhythms (omutjopa, ondjongo, onkandeka, oviritje, outjina, etc), highlights of Afro-beats harmonies, amapiano log drum, and bongo flavor melodies.
The track is part of our 3rd 2023 Omakutipongo Studio Album featuring the talented vocalist Khally.
The Windhoek based Namibian duo Junox & Wizzen (o.com667) is made up of two members. The members are Samuel Mbalundu whose stage name is Junox and Muakambithatji Katetu whose stage name is Wizzen. It is also important to note that the lyrics to their music is in Oludhimba (aka Dhimba, Zemba), a Bantu language native to northwestern Nambia in the areas of Epupa, Ehomba, Etoto, Opuwo & Ruacana. They also incorporate various Namibian Native Languages from Otjiherero (Herero), Oshikwanyama , Oshindonga and of course English and Afrikaans Slag.
