Doesen't wear. It's actually extremely durable. It Dampens down, the fibers get clotted together by sweat and oil from your hands. Get some cleaner and a brush. Apply the cleaner to losen the fat and then brush it to rise the fibers again, it will be the same as on the day you unboxed it.

Considering you're on a budget but also want to get into eSports & competitive sim racing, I would recommend the Thrustmaster T300. Its a little more expensive than Logitech's offering but you also get a better wheel which will allow you to be extremely competitive with enough practice. At the end of the day however, practice really does have the biggest impact.

Yep. This one comes as a standalone however along with the headphones. The one with the T300, comes with the wheel base and pedals along with the wheel.

can u help me, I just got this weel and find it very heavy to turn 360 degree, so heavy that need 2 hands.... when i plug into USB of PC and launch Thrusmaster control panel, it becomes lighter.... but as soon as I unplug it from USB, it becomes so heavy again.....

Its not necessarily better or worse. They're different wheels made for different things. I use it more only because I play more GT games compared to rally. So it really depends on personal preference. Both are fantastic wheel rims.

This is unboxing and first impressions. It includes how the buttons feel and sound. So at least a part of a review. But because this is "only" the wheel and not the base, I'd expect it to just work. It can be attached to a base, the buttons work, no annoying edges etc.
