With Mermaid gone, we can't even be protect the Kristya anymore (Well, we can, but we lose our normal to it now and that hurts end boards/hands horribly) So yeah, protect the Unicore/Kristya/Clausolas is what we've returned to. Back to the drawing board for spicy ritual combos.

@@P5ych1c Makes Kristya summonable by it's own effect if you can normal Manju or Gale Dogra. Do the usual Benten combo to search Kristya, Link Brionac and your normal for a Knightmare, make Mermaid and summon Idlee from deck as the 4th fairy, make a Link-2 of choice, or if you can, use Mirror to summon Trish and overlay for Calamities. End result is an extremely consistent Kristya, usually backed up by something, with cards in hand to play next turn. Also not as vulnerable to hand traps as other Nekroz builds. Without Mermaid, the fourth fairy is gonna be much harder to access, so the combo regresses to summon 2 Impcantations, tribute for Kristya and pass.

I suspect they may be getting more support, maybe a giga monarch for Erebus and ahther or a mega form kuraz / Delg / angmarl. Potentially another 3 monarchs to bring it to 12 plus ahther and Erebus. Banlist really was a little underwhelming. But then again we can't expect mass banning/unlimiting every list. Shurit honestly doesn't do anything at 3 so I don't see why most people are celebrating it, it's decent at 2, but most modern variants only run 1 as he has major bricking issues. 3 being played is excessive. Unicore would be significantly more appreciated and wouldn't do a thing to the meta other then give Nekroz a little boost as a rogue. (Also rip Kristya build, hope we can get a replacement to Mermaid to dump that fourth fairy) Ah well, at least Shaddolls have a structure planned in the furture right? Triple constructs gotta feel good there.

As a HUGE HERO fan and player, 3 Stratos and Malicious make me happy. I KNOW more than ANYONE that HEROES will never become Tier 0. And I honestly don't want them to be Tier 0 bc I want to be "that HERO guy" and it's really fun to be "that HERO guy". Once everybody else starts playing HEROES, I won't feel that special anymore.

Sky Striker Mecha - Widow Anchor gets limited Forbidden Chalice (basically a more dangerous version of this card, cause it negates it's target effect by giving it only 400 more ATK, AND you can use it while you have monsters in your Main Zones): "Thanks, but your services as scapegoat (victim who takes the impact) are no longer requested" (while it retires with an evil laugh and smile).

@@rubemartur8239 Inzektor Dragonfly is the card that swarms the field and sets up one turn kills. With it back at three, some plays are possible again and doing the one turn kill setups have went back up again with the odds of drawing and getting the cards you need to do it.

@@BlazeNarutoShippuden you can defintely u-lock people, so they have that; as well as being a hella strong turn 2 deck like it was back in 2012 (even though hand traps exist) I feel like they could see some play in rouge if built properly

@@amethonys2798 80% of the XYZ cards are there because of Master Rule 4 or Pendulum Abuse. The mechanic itself is fair. The only Xyz monsters that were banned in the Zexal format were Wind Up Carrier, Shockmaster and Lavalval Chain. The rest all came through later abuse.

Lavalval Chain I believe was banned in MR3 when Infernity gained popularity again.

@@romkin1197 Yes. Lavalval Chain was way too good in Infernity. After you prepared the Graveyard a bit you could just use Chains effect to put Infernity Archfiend on top of your deck. If you draw him then, you were able to use his effect for a simple +1 which was usually Launcher or Barrier to extend or protect.

Dark Warrior is going to be top tier just from Memaid being banned, so Mali unlimit is very relevant, & Striker is still top tier with Anchor at 1, Role & MM weren't hit, & those are the most broken things in Striker, the deck core(Shizuku, Engage & Role) is still as intact as before so those are what matter.
