I remember at the start of the season Octane was one of the people pushing the hardest for smokes to be allowed in respawn lol he was saying they don’t create randomness and cheese while so many pros disagreed

You aren't wrong but that was because of the hills on Invasion. Impossible to break without a smoke. This still has nothing to with one-waying a smoke. Lots of players use smokes as intended not all of them one-way it.

@@g-g43 Smokes don't directly create randomness and cheese the one way part of it does. Which is why Octane had a different opinion on smokes as a lot of other people did earlier in the year.
