OCTBOX D36 Seatbox System

does this box take a shoulder strap, or to move it from my car to the water, would I have to u8se the wheel kit?

It does have a shoulder strap but the D36 at 17.5kg is much easier to move to your swim when a wheel kit is fitted which will also allow you to move tackle bag and rod holdall at the same time

The reason I ask is that it is actually lighter than the Preston Carbon box and I suspect lighter than yours.

You need a degree in engineering to set it up!!!

why because you can adjust the seat height without having to add or remove drawers. You can just use it as a seatbox without the added extras such as baitwiaters, bump bar, fewer or no drawers etc. Setting up in which case would just involve extending the inner legs. If you weigh less than 18 stone there is no need to lower the middle legs. Nick Speed fishes in this style and usually takes him just a couple of minutes to setup.
