The scene with Vicki explaining how her stepfather didn’t take an interest in her after finding out about Den but adored her brother doesn’t make sense. Mark was also the result of a grotty little one off (with Grant) neither kid was his .

I thought Vicky was American?? Sometimes she sounds British/ Australian, but most of the times- she sounds like a KIWI ( New Zealand 🇳🇿) 🤷🏻‍♀️

The actress really struggle to do the accent. The higher ups let the actress drop the accent a few months after this. Storywise I think they try to make out Vicky lost her accent because she had been in the UK for an extended period of time.

When Den lied and said he and Dennis didn't know anything about each other, that was his way of saying all was forgotten from their chat and his chance to prove himself as a son I guess.

Nah, Den was never bothered about Dennis. He tolerated him being around when he had to, and used him when he had reason to. That was it.

didn’t really like minty at this point trying to be all tough like Phil I liked it better when he started hanging out with Gary he was a nicer person then
