I remember in these days at our local flea market there were several stands that sold Iron On's and I think was 78-79. .but I had a Phillies one with Schmidt,Bowa, Luzinski, Maddox, etc...it peeled but still was memorable..what a great era for baseball.

These classic MLB games are incredible to be able to watch now. The 70's Baseball games are memories that I'll cherish forever. Going to see the Brewers at Milwaukee County🏟Stadium🏟. Watching the Game of the Week and This Week in ⚾️Baseball⚾️ were always something to look forward to! I may be a lifelong Brewers fan, but I also love good ⚾️Baseball🧢🧢games⚾️no matter who's playing. Being a fan of the Brewers back then, we were an American League team. So I didn't get to see the National League play live, so when they were on 📺🖥TV🖥📺 I was there, or tried to be anyways. The Phillies were one of my favorite NL teams. Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, Larry Bowa, and eventually Pete 🌹 Rose, they were a great team. The Expos were another one of my favorites as well. Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, Gary Carter, Steve Rogers and more. The Expos were responsible for bringing up some of the best players especially pitchers. Randy Johnson being the biggest one. This is an epic game! Thank you for sharing this game!

I was 11 and forgot how clutch thus team was. Last out Boone gets hit and Houston series was insane. 4 extra inning games and Phillies had to win last 2 in Houston and was down 5-2 in 8th in game 5 against Nolan Ryan

McCarver played the next day getting the last hit of his career, also pinch ran for Rose scoring that inning - did the Expos turn their backs to the plate when he huffed and puffed across the plate? He got his 4 decades in MLB.
