What is the Worst Uniform in Every Major League Baseball Team's History?

With 30 MLB teams, there were a lot of uniforms and history to go through. With that said, I think I curated a pretty good list. By no means is this a ranking of the uniforms. This is just me going through each team and picking a uniform (or uniforms) that a team is wearing or has worn before.

While I agree with your statement on the Cardinals. There is one year where it was far, FAR worse than the patches. Look up the 1956 Cardinals uniform. They took the Birds on the Bat off of the uniform. It was horrible and lasted one year.

I would have said the baby blue ones from the start of the franchise. The numbers were weird, the S on Seattle looks wrong, and the orientation of the words looks off. Literally looked like someone told the franchise they would exist next Tuesday and we needed jerseys. The city connects are nice and I don't understand how any fan could want the Sunday creme jerseys to go away.

​@@jonnyt16Only, like, 3 times I think? Those uniforms were designed by Bill Veeck's wife. One item they had were white caps with navy blue bills that were supposed to be worn on the road. First road trip of 1976, they went to Boston. It was unseasonably hot in Boston for April, something like 95°. As Wilbur Wood pitched, a sweat stain crept higher and higher on Wood's white cap. The White Sox never wore those white caps again.

The Angels' kits from 1971 make even the mid-90's sets look half decent. But one other thing to note is that, around the mid 90's, there was a bit of a surge in popularity about the subject of angels in general. The House of Mouse wasn't dusting off a mid-century movie for kicks. Touched by an Angel was pulling eight-figure viewership and Top 10 ratings for CBS, right around the time those uniforms rolled out. So it does make sense, in a way, that the uniforms of that time, would lean into more overtly "angelic" aspects: the sky blue accents, the winged A, and so on. It wasn't specifically a Disney phenomenon: there were some cultural influences at work, as well.
