Dear wonderful choir...my entire life has been affected by your music - I sat by our radio each Sunday night back in the 50's and 60's in Pampa, TX - we could receive KSL from Salt Lake...clear signal! Dr. Schreiner was the organist back then - as an organist I still revere his improvisations and elegant performances...and he had his own program following Music and the Spoken Word.... your musical integrity is ever an encouragement in a fragmented and chaotic world...

That last piece, "Thou Gracious God, Whose Mercy Lends" is a wonderful song on it's own. But mix in a Wilberg arrangement and the Tabernacle Choir, and you have one of the most powerful musical works of art there is!

The Brahms is gorgeous...and exquisitely accompanied. Without wishing to denigrate the orchestra in the least, I wish the organ were featured more prominently on a weekly basis; after all, for many people in the world, thanks to the legacy of Alexander Schreiner, it's the LDS Church's most enduring symbol. Thanks.
