Mighty God, we beseech you to speak your powerful word and calm the raging winds and pouring rains that threaten us. Just as Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee, we trust in your ability to bring tranquility to the chaos around us. Moreover, we pray for the hearts of those affected by the storm. Comfort them in their fears, console them in their losses, and restore their hope. May your presence be felt amidst the turmoil, bringing peace and restoration to their lives. In your grace, we find strength and solace. Amen.

Hey sister Barbra, it’s great hearing from you! So sorry that you finally get to Florida and now you’ve got to evacuate. The LORD will keep you and the word He’s given you today reminds us that if we have Him we really do have everything. He doesn’t want us holding onto anything of this world because we’re leaving it soon. A have a friend that lives in Punta Gorda and she’s going up to Tallahassee. It should be safe up there. I think she said it’s about a 7 hour drive. Stay safe, prayers are with you 🙏🏼

I have friends everywhere from Marco Island all the way up to north of Tampa. I'm hoping the Miami side is the right choice. All the neighbors here are staying so my hubby wants to stay! I told him I won't risk the life of my Chihuahua! 😂

@@278pikelk it’s tempting to stay but I’d get to a shelter…I’ve seen former hurricane disaster clips…get to a shelter for security…you can’t win if it’s overwhelming…only lucky.

120 mph as of this morning. Yesterday while i was going to middle Georgia from the Atlanta area, I saw many vehicles with Florida tags heading south. Do they not listen to the weather reports? Do they hear Father?

Jesus says to Peter: "your faith is small"; I think: "yikes, how small does that make MY faith?" If even Peter could not keep His eyes on Jesus with all that "reality" before his eyes, how much more am I going to require Him to rescue me? Well, that's okay, cuz I know that He will send grace to me whatever happens. I heard a story recently that a small boy cried out to Jesus during the recent flooding but he wasn't saved; he drowned. So, I know I cannot assume that Jesus will rescue me, I can only know that He will be with me. Barb, so appreciate your sharing what's going on with you and your family. Even if you don't get a word from Jesus, we will be glad for you to check in from time to time

This is not just storms of weather but other types of storms as well. The only steady hand to grab on to is My hand. Hold My hand, My children. Many have and will lose everything, key word "thing". These are just things, My children. You actually need nothing else but Me. I will provide for your physical needs even when all is lost. This you must know, for being worried and fretting and allowing fear to creep in allows the enemy of foothold you do not want him to have. Don't be fearful, My loves, for I am holding your hand. I must be your primary focus now, My children. Do not take your eyes from Me. When you focus on what is occurring around you the wave is be become huge and will swallow you up. Eyes on Me.
