Without the tall grass, definitely makes them easier to see early. Approximately, what would you say that the average distance that you were seeing them come from?

Usually the coyotes that are within a quarter mile radius come in and we usually notice them coming in when they are probably 500yards out.

@Outdoorthings101. Ok. I thought maybe you were seeing them coming from farther. There's been times and places that I hunted, where I could actually see them come from over a mile (with the naked eye. Of course, I was also set up on high ground.
