I know Philip Glass from The Hours. In the forward of his book, Michael Cunningham said that he tells stories because he cannot write the music - the music being the highest expression of humanity. I’d never thought of that before, but it has stuck in my mind for decades since. Lol, I often will watch a movie I know nothing about more than certain actors who never make a bad film (a short list of reliables). But very recently I turned on a movie bc I saw Philip Glass had done the score.

OMG Koyanisqaatsi! I love that movie so much! I didn't see it until 1989 as part of a college class, but it shaped how I see the world, I had the soundtrack, love Phillip Glass and composers like him. I have Saturn in the 12th, so the apocalypse is always nigh lol, didn't know that at the time though. October should be quite the time!

I literally woke up this morning, after a bout of flu and I panicked when I thought of all of the things I now need to catch up on. Then, I had this counter thought that said, there is time, if you take it day by day! [Powaqqatsi with was also amazing and I never saw the third, Naqoyqatsi] Also enjoyed your eclipse video and have shared both 🙏 But ouch, that scene with the lemmings is from a pre-SPCA code Disney movie, where the poor creatures were in fact being thrown off a cliff! In reality lemmings do NOT jump off cliffs or commit suicide. It's a metaphor we created solely to express our own, stupid, human behaviour.
