Think you did a great job summarizing “And Then I Woke Up” without spoiling the twist. That’s difficult to do. It made my top books last year. I love zombie stories and agree that this one is unique.

Carrie, I Am Legend, The Exorcist, Hellbound Heart, dude, you just spent October reading through my teens. 😂 The Troop and Short Stay in Hell have been on my TBR for a while now, so nice to get the seal of approval, and some new stuff that hadn’t been on my radar. Good month of reading

So cool to hear you talking about your experience as an audiobook narrator finally! I’m dying to hear your American accent. Also, I read Legion last month which is the sequel to The Exorcist and I want to recommend it to you. I don’t know if you are familiar with the movie exorcist 3 but it’s sort of an adaptation for it. If you’re not, go into this one cold. The book has some ups and downs and it’s slower to build. Some common complaints are the philosophical side tangents that the main character goes through but I have to say it didn’t bother me too much. I got chills during one of the revelations later in the book.

I am watching your videos from Russia. And I really enjoy them! I just love the way you describe the books. Thank you so much!!! I just took Something wicked this way comes in the library in original but now I am not sure I'm gonna make it😂. I decided to watch your videos first and only after that to choose a book to read🙂

I really loved The Troop, The Exorcist and The Hellbound Heart. The Hellbound Heart is actually my favorite book by Clive Barker. I personally really also liked the sequel The Scarlet Gospels, though I know a lot of people hate it. You should try Nick Cutters other novels. Little Heaven by him is easily the best book I read in October and I loved The Deep as well. Great video as always :D

You're such a connoisseur of horror. I love it! I think you were one of the people who recommended The Troop a long time ago.

Congrats on your audiobook narrations! In the 90s, when the director's cut version of The Exorcist film came out, the new footage was shocking, to say the least.

…btw. Death of a Salesman by Herman Melville? That sounds horrific, one half a play about failing to realise the American Dream, the other a technical document about sales forecasting and revenue distribution 😱
