🎃 Hi, maybe a suggestion for tracking your screen time. Try scheduling blocks for you to scroll. That way you can tell yourself oh I already set time to do this later today let me do something else and also you feel less guilt over doing something that relaxes you. I use to do this in gradschool when I started to feel guilty about spending time on self-care.

QOS is so good but SUCH a beast! I took 3 weeks to read it earlier this year. It totally counts as 2 books... LOL And yes, I imagine it's hard to take breaks between TOG. CONGRATS on 99K!!! I love this so much! I don't know which video in particular I found you on, but I know I was searching for "Post Grad" and "Desk Setup" when I was starting my MBA 3 years ago. ❤ I've been watching Gilmore Girls too. Such a cozy vibe. I haven't watched since it was first out, and I never watched all the episodes. For apps, maybe Forest (it sounds silly, but you grow a little forest for maintaining focus) or Opal (it's free and makes you mindful before breaking the focus... but you only get one break for free).

I noticed my voice sounded SO different when I was editing & I was so confused!!!! I realized though that I had filmed this just a couple hours after I did 2 hours of in person interviews & it sounds crazy but I think my voice was higher pitched still/hadn’t worn off from my interviews LOL 😂😭😂😭😂😭 I think I speak in a slightly higher pitch when I’m nervous & it hadnt worn off for the day hahahah

I went over on groceries during the summer months so trying to spend less monthly between now and the end of the year. I think I will be able to do this because I stocked up on a lot of sale items so now I can start eating from what I already have more than buying new all the time.

are you a spotify or an apple music girlie? if you use spotify, you get 15 free audiobook hours a month which i've been obsessed with lately! it really helps me still be able to get an extra book read each month and I just listen while I'm drying my hair/doing my makeup, cleaning, going for walks, and driving throughout the week - and I swear it flies by! I think when I first got back into audiobooks I had a hard time focusing and not getting distracted by external stimuli or just random thoughts but it gets easier the more you listen and I could give some good recs for low stakes books where like you wont miss much if you zone out for a sec!

Omg you are full of the best ideas !!! 💡 I’m a Spotify girlie but I need to get into audiobooks!!! I’ve only listened to like 2 in my life and they were nonfiction lol. I think I feel a type of fomo about missing out on the reading experience of the actual book when I want to do audiobooks for other genres so I just don’t do it 💀 would LOVE some recs though bc i loveee the idea of using them for my walks & esp for reducing screen time too while doing another task/hobby!!!
