Such a great list!! I have cackle on mine too. I absolutely love Rachel Harrisons writing style. I've had dowry of blood for so long, but have yet to read it. 😂 It literally is. I tried filming this video for a week and kept having problems so I finally got it done but I’m just slightly out of focus for the whole video! I didn’t have it in me to re-film again. But I fixed the eye tracking on my camera so next one should be alright.

WHAT! OMG I love Rachel Harrison but I've not read Cackle. I don't know why, it just inexplicably didn't appeal to me. But you've made it sound amazing and now I gotta read it right this second. P.S. I loved Natural Beauty! And Chrysalis was deeply unsatisfying but in an excellent way? Weirdly enough, I loved that one too. P.P.S. totally not the point of this video (I hate to be the clueless person who is like "tell me where you got X thing" when you are in fact talking about other stuff that is much more interesting) but please dear lord you must tell me where you found the world's most perfect mustard sweatshirt! It's everything I have ever wanted in life, and no I am not being melodramatic at all :P

I read Cackle last year and realllly wanted to like it but I have just the complete opposite review of it🥴😩. I don’t know if I was reading from an editor’s point of view or what, but I just found the entire writing kinda terrible🫣. I annotated the entire book and felt like I was reading a first or second draft of the book.
