Octopath COTC Beginner day 1: Post-Master arc unlocking Nameless Town, pets, hunts and towers

We pick up where we left off in • Octopath COTC Beginner...
This time, we skip to what to do when the Masters's arc ends and build towards Nameless Town, Emberflame Story (to get pets), hunts (to get gold guidestones and limit break characters) and towers (for ultimates, EXP nuts, etc).
We did fail to get the job tower floors 1 and 2 to get to the free EX3. That would be doable progressing a bit further for some better weapons with Signa since she's level 72.
The most important "early game" achievements missing from this day-1 play are:
Job tower - get floor 3 and EX3
Progress the regular story further
Game board (for prophetic weapons), expert hunts
However, with this setup, your account will be well prepared to move forward.
