Octopath CotC: Second Anniversary Pulls - Seals, Sazantos, Signa, Anni Banner

This banner was brutal for both of us this time. I had to go to pity for Signa... And I didn't even pull for Sazantos haha. Honestly, I shouldn't complain since I had good luck in past banners and I'm thankful that it did happen in this one and not the other dual banners since I only wanted one character and not both. Hopefully our luck will turn around next time

Goddamn...it's funny, but the exact opposite happened to me on the first round of step-ups. I got Sazantos on Step One. But Signa required TWO FULL ROUNDS before I was able to get her (I got Lumis at the end of the first round). Thankfully, I was eventually able to complete Signa and A3 Sazantos with some lucky pulls and a couple of sparks on Signa's end (one from my Memory Fragments).

A couple of weeks ago I was hoping for Falco from his banner, but knew it wasn't worth continued pulls and gave up, but then I got him with the veteran seal!

got bargello on my 191 pull lol, i've wanted him for so long and couldn't get him, my plan was to go to 200 and spark him but thankfully i got him and instead sparked richard, got really lucky im my pulls

I swear the game knows when you have enough for pity and are willing to go to it. Got Sazantos and Cygna U10 but the First 100 were more like Alaune banner (1 normal dupe and 1 EX dupe). Game have me my First Haanit EX and U10 Primex in the last pulls though so I guess I‘ll have another character from the selector now ^^

@@mellontanamar7950 truly :( it's so irritating this happens every time. I wouldn't even mind it so much if I got some nice filler along the way but all these empty pulls all the way to pity are incredibly demoralising. Congrats on your results though! I was fishing for Sazantos so I could grab Signa's U10 from pity but oh well :(

Yeah, idk why this always happens lmao. It's a cycle. Game is super good to me, I'm happy > game starts giving me shit results because how dare you get comfortable > I start losing interest because bad luck streaks can truly kill enjoyment in gacha > game gives me ridiculously good luck for a while to reel me back in, and repeat lol. Overall I'm not mad about my results, just wish they didn't take me so many rubies to get. And thanks!

@@jonathancook1731 while that's true, the fact that I get *so many* empty pulls on pretty much every long pulling session means I'm not exactly swimming in shards at any given time. I just barely have enough for Bargello A4 and one more stone :(

@@BruniPlaysOctopath that does suck. My guides for Odio-O were like that. I think I got him once, Odio-S, Nina-lana and one other dupe. This time I had a dupe parade. I will post on Reddit in a minute how mine went. It was a good session for me. I replaced all the awakening shards I spent on Bargello and Sonia's stones.

@@jonathancook1731 man, lucky, congrats! I think the last time I had a pity pulling session where I actually got a lot of random dupes was like, Rondo? Everything else has been A) super lucky step 1/2 and thus stop pulling, or B) pity session where I get 1-2 5* in all those 150 pulls and it's never the featured unit. There is literally no inbetween for me, haha. I wish I could afford more stones but the 12k I have right now are for Bargello A4 and probably to start working on Canary's A4 when she gets added. The passes really are my only consistent source of shards, unfortunately :/ oh well...

Congrats for people who can afford to pull, congrats for people who pays for pulling, congrats for all pure f2p that saved rubies to pulling on anniversary... but for all who can't afford to pull (especially pure f2p & casual player) its okay, you can save all the rubies until the 6* star feature arrived on global. Because all the banner will give you a 6 star unit (i mean usually we got 5 star & now in the banner we got 6 star instead, but it can be 4-5 star of the limited unit but can upgraded to 6 star). And you can all out in 6 star banner (if you want the unit of course) 👍🏻

It pains me too see you all going out just to pity a single copy of a unit. Just imagine being a complete f2p just like me but i know it's no excuse because if you love the game you should be willing to spend☺️, and thus I hope you would have a better odd next timein your pulls❤

@@kryouho4514 yeah, it really really sucks not getting anything for your paid rubies, much more so than when you're using free rubies. The rates can just be really brutal in this game 😔 it's not too bad though, I got everyone I wanted, it just cost me more rubies than I would have liked haha.
