I did beat this one without watching any videos whereas I couldn't for galdera so it's not that bad I think (I haven't tried as hard for galdera though, also knowing that in this vide fight I could use all my money and items)

Vide is easier by design, he can still one shot you of nowhere but Galdera required a very specific strategy to defeat it, I don't it's possible to defeat Galdera without spamming elemental attacks on phase 1 and Olberic/Hannit 1HP Warmaster on phase 2... whereas any strategy can work for Vide as long as you split your party balanced enough.

Is it weird that compared to Galdera i absolutely adore this? It really feels like, as the fight progresses, youre fighting Vide with the gods themselves. Its awesome, and I geniuenly love this. Though that might also be because you dont do both Vide's back to back

In my headcanon, this is a version of Vide that took Claude or one of the Blacksnakes as his vessel instead of Oboro what allows him to unleash his full power

That's the definitivo of a completely overwhelming last boss!!! I cannot defeat until now! 2 weeks trying and I can't crack a strategy to beat it... But for the gods I'll do it 😅

May l just note, your first party is almost exactly the same as my main team for the character story part. Just make Hikari's job Apothecary and you've got it! Edit: The teams are in Crossed Paths pairs so that's why (I didn't even notice until halfway through the game lol)

Why?! Just WHY are they always so hard. I was in the second Phase and then you cant' heal yourself anymore in "the darkness" wth. I love that game, but they make it so hard.

Firex2 all & Bone toss (2-3 staff) from lostseed castle Axex2 all from Tyranodrake den. Bows and Spears, sorry I forgot but from simple monster. You can search database from google = Octopath Traveller 2 spreadsheet.

How much health does Vide have? Do I even want to know?

Each arm = 150k x 2 x 2 phase Main body = 1m, but it will heal itself in last phase for 0.8m so totally 1.8m .

1.8m health isn't actually that much considering. It's just getting the turns to deal that damage I beat it today, I would know the last phase was very anticlimactic with my strat
