Read what I have typed in comparitive manner you will understand DIABETIC RETINOPATHY -Earliest sign : micro aneurysm - deep / dot blot hemorrhage - micro aneurysm and dot blot(deep) hemorrhage present in inner nuclear layer - hard exudates ( lipoprotein deposit found in outer plexiform layer) HYPERTENSIVE RETINOPATHY -Earliest sign : nasal angiospasm -superficial/Flame shaped hemorrhage - soft exudates / cotton wool spots -Flame shaped hemorrhage and soft exudates found in nerve fibre layer
