Ocular Surface Disease & Rehabilitation with Scleral Lenses:Fitting & Troubleshooting

This course discusses the role of scleral lenses in rehabilitation of common ocular surface diseases, as well as management of dry eye disease in the absence of corneal pathology. It addresses challenges during the fitting process, troubleshooting techniques to alleviate the fit concerns while concurrently managing the ocular surface disease. With advances in technology, incorporation of profilometry can aid in the fitting process and help with optimization of the fit. It covers some patient cases and results with scleral lens management.
