Oduyoye's Odu in the name "Odu-o da uwa" is the "oracular utterances " of Odu Ifa. The "-o" that followed is the 3rd person singular pronoun. So to translate this "Odu-o da uwa" exactly would be, using his words, - "Oracular utterances-it created existence."
