Oda very clearly gave 0 fucks about carrot after wci. I’m certain he only half assedly wrote her out of the story because of the rabbid carrot fans that voted her all the way into the top 10 most popular characters during the world popularity contest. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if he was originally just going to make Wanda the leader of the minks but decided otherwise to placate carrot stans for when he ultimately didn’t have her join the crew.

Oda is the ultimate D&D Dungeon Master. His campaign has been going on over 25 years In all seriousness you're forgetting Oda said at the end of Wano that people could pick up the story at the final Saga and not have to read anything prior. Recaps are a given with That perspective.

Im pretty sure carrot didn't join is because oda hasn't explained what the dawn of the world is in the story, which she also don't know what it is Luffy wants to be pirate king Zoro wants to be the strongest swordsman Nami wants to create a map of the world Sanji wants to find the all blue (when all 4 sea meet) Ussop wants to be a brave warrior Chopper wants to cure all diseases Robin wants to learn the history of the world Franky wants to create a dream ship(sunny) that can make it to the end of the grandline Brook wants to reunite with laboon Jinbe wants human and fishmen equality And now Vegapunk's message is basically explaining the history of the world (which he doesn't completely know) and he will most likely say the next joyboy will bring the dawn and maybe we will get a glimpse of what the dawn of the world actually is Tldr: all the strawhats dreams can be explained or don't need an explanation, carrot's "dream" isn't explainable or has has benn explain in the story Btw look up bonney's least favorite food

The only reason that the Minks can listen in on Vegapunk’s Message is because of the Straw Hats. Franky is the one who built the Den Den Mushi for the Minks. Look it up. With the information Vegapunk gives, combined with what Carrot has been told, and her inner thoughts about Pedro’s words to her about making sure the Straw Hats are able to bring forth the Dawn of the World, there is no saying what Oda has got in mind going forwards. Remember, the Minks are being protected by Joy Boy’s Companion Zunesha, and we don’t know why.

As someone who wanted both Carrot and Yamato to join, the moment one wasn't joining, I knew the other wouldn't either. But people chose to live in a delusion anyway. Sometimes you gotta let people clown themselves before they learn. That's also why I dunno if Bonney will join either. Oda loves surprising people. I have to see it to believe it before anyone new joins now. But also, Robin's final boss being Aokiji makes far more thematic sense than Stussy. He's the man who masterminded the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs. He's going to fight her no matter what.

I totally respect and understand your feelings about Carrot for Nakama. I will of course not unsubscribe from you, because you are still one of my favorite One Piece content creators. You are still as hilarious as always! I however am dying on the Carrot for Nakama hill, and you are of course welcome back once we get any info that changes your mind. Remember, The Minks are being protected by none other than Joy Boy’s Companion, and in the words of The Pirate King Himself: Everyone gets their moment.

Copeaganda time! Just had an idea! Carrot wasn't the only one Oda jumped to in a reaction panel. He also showed Bepo's reaction. In a separate panel. Implying he hasn't reached Zou yet. And we still don't know if Carrot knows about the Rumble Balls. They're crumbs, but it's still something.

You've read the last four chapters, yeah? It was more or less the same thing about the world drowning: An allegory for man-made climate-change, and nuclear war-fare. Yamato will join the strawhats 100% guaranteed........ just at the very end of the series. Maybe in a prologue or smth. Her storyline of wanting to be Oden practically guarantees it. Didn't she even say she will eventually join the strawhats after Wano can hold its own without her there?

I guess? We would need a sequel series to really enjoy that next generation, though. Otherwise Yamato wouldn't get much time with the crew, which would be a waste. I mean, I'm not ruling Two Piece out. Oda may be nuts enough to do something like that.

@@ChimourTheBatFurry I think were just gonna get a prologue and see her adventuring with the Strawhats around the world. I dont actually expect to see Yamato being a strawhat for very long. Oda said he'd never make another long series after One Piece is over so the absolute most we can expect is a short series documenting the futures of the relevant characters. It wouldnt be like a real Two Piece: Shippuden where we follow Buffy, Luffy's son. In it we might see things like Sanji's all blue restaurant. We might see Sanji marry Pudding for real this time. We could see Boa actually get with Luffy and have them adventure together as the worlds most free couple, Pirate King and Pirate Empress and allat. We could see what Zoro gets up to as the WSS, possibly following Mihawks footsteps. In that prologue we could see Koby becoming an admiral or possibly fleet admiral. And ofc, new recruits like Yamato. I really hope Oda makes a prologue. Id absolutely love to see what the OP world gets up to in like 20-30 years.

A prologue would be before the beginning of a new series. What you mean to say, is that you're hoping for an epilogue. Apologies for being nerdy, but I had to correct you.

I don't blame you one bit for jumping ship, but you're the reason why my hope in the agenda was renewed... look. I really don't want to count Oda out. I mean, Wano was... troublesome, and the Nika ass-pull was... something. But, you know? I don't want to believe the man just gave up at character writing. In fact, we know he still has the knack for it. Just look at the stunning brilliance that was the Kuma flashback. I am a fool I know, but I'm still betting on the rabbit.
