I get the exact same vibe from differing right hands. Like narratively, Luffy and Zoro are meant to be kinda like partners or relatively close in power the same way Roger and Rayleigh/Ben Beckman and Shanks/BB and Shiryu all are. To me, King, Katakuri and Marco don't fit in the same. There's large gaps between them and their captains unlike the others who were close in age/strength/experience to theirs.

@@shanecanada5248 Not really. It take alot more to be a Yonko then it does the worlds strongest swordsman. You need to accumulate a massive and Powerful crew while also controlling large territories that even the World Government recognizes as yours. But the title of Worlds Strongest Swordsman (and any other Worlds Strongest title) can only be obtained by defeating the previous title holder. For Example, Shanks was not yet a Yonko when he lost his arm saving Luffy. Mihawk refuses to fight a one armed Shanks which means that he has never fought a Yonko level Shanks. So there's a very good chance that Shanks is more powerful then Mihawk, but sense Mihawk now refuses to fight him Shanks can never take the title of World Strongest Swordsman away from him. Even if someone like Oden was to hypothetically come back to life in the One Piece World, Mihawk would still technically be the Worlds Strongest Swordsman even though I'm willing to bet Oden is stronger.

I’m pretty sure every experienced pirate with King’s Haki can coat themselves in it. We wouldn’t be able to tell because until Luffy said so we didn’t even know Kaido was doing it. Doesn’t really make sense for ppl like Doflamingo and Katakuri who are experienced and mastered in every other way with vast knowledge of the world to have King’s Haki but not know how to coat themselves. The Marines acted as if it was a given that someone would be able to do this when Luffy revealed he had it, why would they act that way over just the potential of someone being able to do it when Luffy had 0 evidence of becoming powerful at that point? I see a similarity here is that Zoro and Rayleigh both help the captain to become the Pirate King; The difference is that Rayleigh only helps Roger fulfill his wish and return to Sabody, while Zoro is more than that because he still has a dream that the strongest swordsman is still waiting for him when Luffy becomes the Pirate King.

Rayleigh and Benn Beckman are special much more special than Katakuri or Marco etc. But Brago what you fail to realize is that THERE IS NO VICE CAPTAIN LIKE ZORO. Zoro isn't just a special vice captain he's someone who himself has a Kingly ambitions, his determination will power and drive to be stronger and hence his Conqueror's Haki is just as strong as Luffys. Rayleigh never aimed to be World's Strongest and as far as we know Beckman never did either. And that makes Luffy much more special than Roger and Shanks. Luffy having Zoro is like Roger having Whitebeard or more appropriately Shanks having Mihawk. Ben and Ray push Shanks and Roger to high diff. Zoro and Luffy would be dead equals EoS Zoro = EoS Luffy > Roger = Whitebeard = Mihawk > Shanks >= Rayleigh > Oden >= Benn Beciman

Congrats for the 300k, you deserve them. There are a lot of parallels between Roger's crew, Shanks 's and Luffy's. That would mean that Ben Beckman is to Shanks what Rayleigh was to Roger and Zoro is to Luffy, whch just adds up to the hype, and make them stand out different from the rest of the other Right-hand mans like Katakuri and King.

Yes and Benn Beckman is build different because we were told that Shanks' commanders are widely renowned, with a very high average bounty and the best balance of any pirate crew (compared to the other Emperor's crew too) (by the Marines in Chapter 957).

For Chapter 1037 I think we're going to see the conversation between Shanks and the Gorosei. Shanks was probably explaining that Luffy is destined to defeat Kaido. The Gorosei figured they could kill two birds with one stone by sending CP0 to collect Nico Robin and confirm Kaido's defeat.

I never noticed how Zoro's new epithet could be King of Hell and Shiryu in a way is already a fallen king of hell. as in impel down and all the correlations it has with Dante's The inferno and the Christian hell. This also works well with who Zoro has fought because King is a Fallen Angel.

My theory for that goes like this. The reason kings haki users can't touch is the same reason the king's in chess can't face each other it's simple their wills apposed. Bullet and Luffy one believes in friends one doesn't. Kata and Luffy one wants their captain to be pirate king the other wants to be pirate king (Btw Rogers base approves of it not bragging but it's the first time I got a thumbs up from a KZbinr)

In arcs prior to Wano all the fights in the series for the most part made sense to the majority. In the beginning of Wano Luffy got one shot by Kaido following that he went to Udon there he learned to train Haki flow so that he can damage Kaido tough scales cool. When luffy got on the roof he did Red Rock to Kaido and manage to actually damage him showing his Ryou training did pay off and things were going to be different this time. As the supernova fought Kaido they were able to damage him but it wasn’t enough to bring about some damage that can work towards actually defeating him until Luffy had an “AHA Moment” which was discovering you can coat yourself in conquerors coating to attack. Now in all honesty I didn’t like this idea at first but after coming to understand Luffy just applied his ryou training to conquerors it made sense. But everything from went down hill Zoro all of sudden being a master user of conquerors Haki and people saying “oh he trained Haki flow” that doesn’t make any sense he just learned from Kaido he’s a conquerors user it took Luffy awhile to understand that and he’s had conquerors Haki way longer than Zoro. In order for luffy to even just see a glimpse into the future it took him a whole twelve hours. Back to Zoro and King we then got King going from whooping Zoros ass to saying “I’m starting to reach my limit” out of the blew and then after a flashback Zoro all of sudden being on kings level. Sanji Vs Queen wasn’t ever a back and forth it was an ass whooping. Throughout the entire fight Sanji was having an eternal conflict after he turned his attentions to Queen it was over. And unfortunately the majority of the fandom is going to keep saying “Haki blooms in the heat of the battle” you can only apply that to so much but to each his own.
