...To be fair, every single one of them feels MUCH MORE STRONGLY than the last to actually join. Carrot had a LOT more crew-joining potential than anyone in Dressrosa; Yamato seemingly MUCH more than carrot for as shortly as we knew them; and Boney now MUCH, MUCH more than EITHER of them with everything that's happened with her. And I'd be happy if she did, and/or any earlier ones (including Vivi) come back in the endgame and become 'final voyage companions' like Crocus and Oden were for Roger; however at this point I'm just not sure. Maybe they'll each command new portions of the Grand Fleet instead.

I honestly believe that Oda is in ok health and the shorter chapters are simply because he has so much work on his hands. He is making the manga weekly, helping with the Live Action that clearly is in filming for season 2 right now, likely will be majorly involved with the new anime as well as the current one and he has been writing more for new games and movies the last few years. Dude has a lot of projects to deal with and they only seem to be ramping up not slowing down. You get less of the main story for spinoffs and retellings with him at the front. That honestly seems to show he is at the top of his game in health to deal with when we have other creators who can hardly just keep up with a single project being the manga like our other gem of the island nation making Hunter X Hunter. That is what you can point to and go “I hope they are in good health.” He simply can’t work on other projects and the one he is doing is slow to release. I wish them both and many other creators the absolute best and a long lived future to see their creations until the end and hope for more after then.

As much as a slower pace means more waiting, it also means postponing the day it all ends so I don't know how I feel. Also, another appeal for Franky! He doesn't need haki to be as strong as a haki user. Instead of willing his body to 'be like iron', he found a better alloy and built himself out of that. In terms of strength his system can produce enough air pressure for Franky to fly, with passengers. You need haki to fight Franky, he doesn't need it to fight you. But he's also not really a fighter. He gets a kick out of using his toys but he doesn't seem to spend any time training or anything.

2 things 1. Instead of haki A way for Franky to get a better hook is to have his hand coated with sea prism 2. What happens if Franky does have armament haki but because his body is already more durable since he's made of metal he doesn't have to put that many layers of haki on to harden him self to the same as a person using a full coating on a squishy body so it will be enough layers that it will hurt others but not be seen
