I think this has to do with Joyboy’s dominion over Zunesha not Imus. Since when we see Zunesha in Wano he basically says I’m sorry Joyboy when he hears the drums of liberation. I saw a theory that Joyboy sent out the mink tribe to eventually meet them at Wano, potentially to enact the Ancient weapon, but Zunesha didn’t make it in time to act out Joyboys will. This would mean he was “cursed” for the sin of not making it in time to save the world by the enacting of the ancient weapon. Joyboy because he realized the minks would not be able to defend themselves except during full moons, sent Zunesha to wander the seas until his return when then again the minks would be able to live out the use of the Ancient weapon in Wano. If it a mole type weapon maybe they are the only race able to wield it??? Either way Zunesha was forced to wander the sea IMO to protect the only race than can control the ancient weapon sort of like only Shirahoshi is Poseidon as a fishman. The silhouette on the last panels of chapter 1121 shows "Stabs" holding a sword with his left hand. This proves it's not Shanks Also, the SBS where Oda avoided answering the question, brought up the point about Shanks can stop Kaido in the New World, and then show up to Marineford in Paradise on the same day. This means Stabs stopped Kaido. Another thing is that Shanks arrived at Marineford completely unscathed, as if he didn't have any encounter with another Yonko at all. And I doubt Shanks would just have a chit chat with Kaido like he did Whitebeard. Kaido would definately take the opportunity to fight Shanks. The only info we have about Kaido vs "Shanks" is from the government headquarters. Not a trustworthy source. Especially if the twin is one of their own top secret agents that conveniently looks like Shanks. Is there any point in the manga after Marineford where Shanks mentioned Kaido or Kaido mentioned Shanks? I don't recall this to be the case either

good thinking but there's a few things that suggest otherwise. A big thing is that when Kaido was remembering the greats who left a long lasting impression on him it showed a silhouette of Shanks (with a clear scar) which would suggest it is the original shanks who had this interaction. Also there are many things we don't know that could introduce ways of traveling extremely quickly like the rainbow roads and summoning circles etc. so there could still be a reason as to how he got there so quickly. Other than that though it's all just speculation till we get more information which is the great thing about One Piece haha

So the seraphim being cloned of the warlords and the pacifistas being cloned in the image of Kuma almost supports the idea that this would be a clone of theirs which is red haired and maybe Garland was even before shanks. It could be possible that the gorosei were god's knights that were stromg enough to alleviate themselves to the role of gorosei judged by Imu's will. This is possible because Saturn got erased and we saw his replacement was none other than St Garling himself, a former holy knight who was likely extremely powerful. This also explains why the gorosei have to actually try in their role as they are likely aware that someone such as Garling could replace them if Imu finds them not worthy enough.

One thing people don't talk about enough is that not only is Oda a master of foreshadowing, he's also a master of HINDSIGHT, that means he connnects back to things and retroactively makes them into related things. Nami's rope is 100% haki imbued in it. Except, not Conqueror's but Armament in my opinion. The reason is simple we know that haki has levels and it's not just a "visual representation". Sentomaru stated in Return to Sabaody "their haki got STRONGER" when the monster trio took down the Pacifista with one hit and they weren't depicted with black coating Level 1 Invisible armor (this is how we make pre-timeskip make sense for not using black coating) Level 2 black coating Level 3 "emission", the "palm thrust" we've seen characters use, like Rayleigh, Sentomaru, the Boa sisters, the Admirals... Level 4 Ryuo, internal destruction The rope fits into level 3. I think you're confused, "lineage factor" is just the OP version of DNA. You can get that from blood which is what VP uses. In terms of the seraphim, they use "green blood" to give them the powers of a devil fruit from another DF user, also using DNA. But green blood isn't real blood, it's a creation of VP and is only used with the seraphim. Stussy doesn't have green blood. While they might not have blood from a baby Shanks, they could easily have hair or other organic material that they could get DNA from. They could even have blood samples stored, there are other ways than to simply have the actual baby on hand.

The biggest problem with the theory that Shanks being controlled is that with the time frame we just saw him in the last couple days with the rest of his crew. We feel like EggHead was a long time and was months ago... however they were only there a day and that was only a couple days ago. During this we also saw Shanks on Elbaph before heading off shortly before Luffy got there. We don't really know if its Shanks, a clone, or his brother because Oda has been sneaky about the view we have of this person so far. I'm personally guessing now that its probably a brother. If the 2 "God Knights" got a task to achieve something in Elbaf from the Gorosei, they would be brieifed about their target Loki and that the SW crew is on the island. They would know who and where Loki is instead of just asking "where is a guy named Loki?". The reason I don’t think it’s Shanks is because Shanks’ crew is strong and I doubt they’d just let him disappear like that without chasing him, especially after they JUST left Wano to go after the One Piece. Do I want it to be Shanks? Yes, the story would be so much better with evil Shanks or main antagonist Shanks. I don’t think it’s impossible he is being controlled. We saw members of CP0 being reluctant with Dripper, Lucci, and Kaku. We also saw that Lucci had a black scarf. Maybe he’s using some of Imu’s power or something. Maybe Imu is able to control people. But Lucci also didn’t teleport with a big display of Haki. I’m still trying to find out why Shanks was crying to Roger so maybe that could have something to do with it too. It makes the most sense to me, and probably for the story, if Shanks is a clone instead of a sibling (if those are our other two options). In terms of theatrical drama, I don’t think this is going to turn into a soap opera. If this was Bleach, I could totally see it being his brother, but Oda doesn’t have that much melodrama in his stories. Sanji’s Whole Cake arc was the closest thing we got and we barely got a confrontation with Sanji’s family. But I do think Oda wants everyone to assume they are related. I just hope it is more creative than a sibling and I hope the answer gives us insights on lore and history. If it is a clone, I there is so much more flexibility in possibilities that Oda could be in his wheelhouse for.

Saint Garling Figarland's hairstyle looks like a star from the front and looks like a moon from the side as well for more parallelism. Luffy represents the Sun God of the One Piece World and Imu respectively represents the moon as the Sea Devil of the One Piece World! The moon is what controls the tides of the ocean. K.O.L believes that Imu’s Demonic power as the Sea Devil is the 1000 Demon Parade. Which grants demonic abilities to the Holy God Knights. Shanks's twin brother could possibly be Ginny’s husband and Bonney’s biological father. He would still be old enough twelve years ago to SA Ginny and have her conceive Bonney. Maybe the female Holy God Knight next to him is also a Ginny clone similar to Lilith?

I think Danks is Figarland’s son. Young Figarland looks like Shanks but I think it’s more like how Zoro and Ushimaru look alike but he’s not Zoro’s father. Or if they are brothers then I think the Skoll and Hati parallel is great. Shanks chases the sun (Luffy) and Hati chases the (moon) Blackbeard? Blackbeard kills Danks and Luffy thinks it’s actually Shanks. In a way this is what causes Ragnarok.

Im not sold on much either way with shanks, But a lot of the clone talk has me wondering if Blackbeard is a clone of rocks. If rocks is truly dead theres a reason he hasnt been shown. He could have been tossed out as a failed clone as it doesn't seem that he shares the same body type and viewed as a failure. And the fact marco said something about his body not being normal could lend to this idea because he's not a natural born human.

Cool theory but I got my gripes, if this theory is true then: 1)Then Who do you think is the left handed silhouetted swordsman we see in the final double spread page of the major contenders for the one piece? 2)What about the Red haired pirates? 3)I think Shanks would be dead by now given the fact that he is the one who stole The One Fruit, The One fruit that the WG finally got they hands on after 800yrs of searching, the One fruit meant to be the ultimate threat to Imu's rule....shanks stole that fruit and hid it away from them, thats essentially a death penalty for an imu puppet...Saturn got killed coz of a mistake of "letting joyboy escape" ...now imagine some who is so deliberate in bringing forth Joyboy/Nika like Shanks again I think the concept for shanks being controlled by Imu to do what he wants, and not become pirate king becoz he's not the freest of pirates would be fantastic if certain things makes sense for me...but as of now I dont see it not even one bit

My honest theory for the extra shanks is that, Shanks is actually a clone from Garland, and the other " Shanks ", is another clone that was made after Gol D Roger somehow got baby Shanks, the original clone.

Yeah this video is a huge stretch. I highly doubt that it’s shanks. Realistically it makes more sense that this is either Shank’s brother or that he may even be a clone. And if a clone, then he’s probably a clone of Garling himself, and raised as a son. But the twin theory might be the right one. Maybe both are clones of Garling rather than sons, maybe have children wouldn’t guarantee that they would have Garling’s potential strength so opted to be cloned so that his strength could be passed on. Shanks brother is probably gonna have a name similar to Garling considering Roger and as the one to probably name Shanks.

“Shanks” was split in half (like Kurama from Naruto) by Roger with an upgraded version of Divine Departure to foil everyone’s plans. Rocks was there to kill baby Shanks to stop Imu from using him to solidify his grip on the world. GARP WAS THERE TO STOP THE PIRATES FROM HARMING A CHILD and doesn’t like to talk about it because he knows that his form of justice would’ve doomed the world, which is the double meaning behind why he says to take the baby and run. I'm more inclined to think Shanks and his "twin" are both clones of Garling, and the "twin" was made because Shanks went missing at God Vally. Cloning Garling makes sense to me, so the Holy Knights don't get inbred, like the rest of the Celestial Dragons, also he was revealed during Egghead, which had a lot about cloning.
