Great info thanks! Tried many granular devices and enjoy the knobbiness but they all seem so convoluted and limited when it comes to file recording/management and dwarf in comparison to using a vst/app. Hoping granular hardware follows the explosion of wavetable 🤞🏼

I think the tasty chips GR-1 is the closest I found that seems to play more like an instrument and with less constraints. There is also a ton of great iPad apps

Hi Chris, the knob positions here make sense for the playback of unaffected samples but I seem to get 40 sec of record time regardless of knob positions. I'm just going off of how long the LED is red before it switches off so maybe I'm missing something. Can you clarify whether knob position has an affect on the recording?

The position and length knobs are the most important. The position knob should be turned all the way to the left/7 o'clock (to be at the start of the buffer) and the length knob should be all the way to the right/5 o'clock giving you the full length of the buffer to record. If you are modulating these parameters while recording your length will vary depending on the CV. I hope this helps!
