Wow, the Harmonic / Distribute functions really set this apart as a granular synth.

8:13 "Making beautiful clouds," is a fine way to describe granular synthesis.

Awesome demonstration! I love how your demos often showcase how they can get you to enter into play with the music and exploration. One of the most important aspects of the synth world, I think. Also, a cool module! It'd be interesting working with the chord controls alongside the overall pitch for some interesting progressions....like having the root note be a 4-step sequence, but the chord structure having a 7-step sequence, so you'd get a lot of variety in a very controlled but still open sequence. Very cool!

Oh, some gorgeous mangling! That's a very desirable device there. (There are always so many beautiful modules out there - I need to convince somebody to give me more money.)

I know Cornflakes is supposed to be stereo, but for some reason, it is only coming out mono on my unit. I'm still new to modular so any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Yo, check out Cardinal, it’s a free VCV rack host for working in the DAW, which is a free Modular simulator. insane possibilities , plus all the power of a DAW, and you can have as many modular rigs as you want. I would recommend still building a rig and saving it as a preset and using it in your DAW instead of building from scratch though still, as it’s kinda a better way to learn and explore modular and cuts off that feeling of analysis paralysis.

I imagine it could do havoc with speech, where you mangle a sentence caught on radio into a complete ambient piece^^

you should really check out Instruo's Arbhar. It not only makes granular sounds I've. never heard before, but anything/everything you record into it just comes out sounding downright beautiful.

"The module features 32 memory slots for samples stored on an SD card and you can run audio through it live for real-time processing." Is real time processing a thing for a future update?
