I remember playing a match on Wallonia in this tank a few months after the Battle Pass that introduced it, myself and a group of 4-5 other T55E1s ran along the "C" side flank and just evaporated the enemy team as they crossed the field heading for B. So much RP and SL.

Only 3 XP-55s were ever built and 2 of them were destroyed when they crashed due to their stall characteristics. So they fly much better in game than they do in IRL.

That was one of the first or second battlepass tanks back when buying the battlepass got you the first vehicle automatically. It is a lot of fun. Honestly I think they should have some method of generating vehicle coupons for otherwise unavailable vehicles because even if it was available on the marketplace unless you are buying the vehicle when it is just released the prices for anything even half way decent are scams, if any are even available.

I love this thing, it will get you out into and out of so much trouble because it has so much speed and that big gun. Also because the engine is rather quiet and no treads to grind and squeak you can sneak around at high speeds.

i know this is most likely far too late to be read but the KV-1B and KV-1E were at 4.3 for RB, they got moved down when gaijin last made the KV-1E available and its winrate sank because of the low skill spam so therefore its BR was moved down back to 4.0

This thing would be infinitely less frustrating if the crew actually sat down in the vehicle like they're clearly supposed to, (the driver is sticking his head over his window,) and the steering actually worked properly without requiring custom keybinds to turn the rear wheels at the same time. Nobody plays it at 4.3, it just goes into the 4.7 lineup anyways, so just fix it and put it at 4.7. Sadly everyone forgot to remove the M6 from their 4.7 lineup so now I have to get uptiered to 5.0 every game...

@@Tikonor they are fixed (or should be if they're not) - either way the drive mechanics aren't right. The game has the front 4 wheel turning as if they're on CV's at the end of independent axles, the real vehicle has a '5th wheel', and the front 4 wheels are all mounted to it as an assembly (the front 4 wheels are a bogie pivoting about a central axis). Turning radius is 30m (98 feet) and top speed was 100km/h. Also only had 220HP, not 296 (2x110hp engines, one for the front 4, one for the rear 4) and it only had 4 gears, not 6... the dev's have known this since the beginning of 2021 data - google: warwheels T55E1 data sheet

I believe that the only reason Odd does well at all is because of his aggressiveness, for sure, but far more due to him playing vehicles like the T55E1 that have: 1.) Egregiously good mobility 2.) A decent gun (which always oneshots if it enters the crew compartment) 3.) Matchmaking that rarely faces heavier tanks - and *German teams with Pz IV's* (which can be penned from quite literally any angle with the 76mm). Due to all these, he can simply pick a spot beside a cap, wait, kill everything from the side, reposition, and repeat. Due to the sub-par skill of most German players below Tier III, they will very rarely spot the T55E1 if it somehow bounces off their weak armor, and their guns never oneshot the T55E1 except if they hit the ammo. Point I'm trying to make is that Odd simply picks good vehicles that face German teams. His skill helps, but it's not the most major factor. My point is proven by the fact that when playing the Maus, a vehicle he can't push into the enemy spawn in the first five minutes with, he does average. I mean *really* average. In playing the Maus, he forfeited his two greatest advantages: mobility to complement his aggressive playstyle, and being able to face German teams. Once I saw him in that tank only get two kills and a few assists, despite playing perfectly; compare that to this video, where he yoloed around and still got... 14 kills, was it?

T55e1, xp-55, 4.0 Sherman, sb2c-4, M16, and m24 makes a sick sick lineup that's very consistent 100k sl matches and it's just exponential if you have guys to squad with that can support each other. XP-55 is super-good, it sits at 4.3 because it's premium. It outguns basically everything it faces and has v. good climb, speed, turn and high speed maneuvrability.
