I may not KZbin, but my favorite lineup is a single tank one personally. Japanese M24, the P51C from a previous BP, B7A2 and the A6M2. Its such a fun lineup as each plane is unique in function and capabilities and the M24 is just such a treat to play.

That is what I think is strange in War Thunder, a truck or tank get damage and the crew can randomly explode, or you can not go forward or shoot, but an aircraft that are destroyed in an explosion can still shoot, drop bombe and sometime also controlled, it not until you hit the ground it is over.

The crew that dies determines which actions are lost on a tank. Same as on a plane. If the pilot is alive then the plane can drop bombs and be controlled by the pilot. If the pilot dies, you instantly lose control. You can be taken out of a perfectly good plane if your pilot is sniped.

@@Hexapoda.Resident a crew that’s been “just knocked out” is dead. You can’t carry on driving and shooting because there’s no one left alive in the vehicle to drive and shoot. This is absolutely identical to how it is in aircraft. If the pilot died, you can’t shoot or drop bombs, if you can still do that when the aircraft has been “destroyed in an explosion”, the pilot is actually still alive in whatever is left of the aircraft.

@@Hexapoda.Resident the differences are in repairability and crew replacement. If a tank is set on fire damaged to the point where it can’t drive or shoot, but some of the crew are still alive, the fire can be put out, the tank can be repaired, and the crew can move around in the tank so you still have a driver and gunner (if the original ones died). So, a ground vehicle can be crippled but isn’t considered destroyed until there are too few crew left alive to drive and shoot. In aircraft on the other hand, you can’t repair a broken wing or something like that, and you can’t replace the pilot with another crew member, so a crippled plane is considered destroyed, whereas a crippled tank is not.

I would love to use my XA-38 but it gets its entire elevator removed or better yet the whole thing gets cut completely in half by a single shot, it's just not fun literally being looked at and grazed and dying because of it.

i went to go and look up this vehicle to check out it's engine specs for fun. it's based on a Fiat 6601 and lorry i never would have guessed because this thing looks positively ancient, but it's not a war time vehicle. The 6601 is from the 50s and was produced all the way up to the 70s. anyway about the engine; big chonker inline six diesel with over a litre per cylinder at 7,298cc, 92 horsepower and the vehicle weighs 5,216kg unloaded (that turret on the back is heavy!). *[edit]* 24:20 - fucking christ that was brutal

Have you played the Su-122 lately? If you get top tier in it (2.3?) its just god like. Nothing can pen you from the front, and its such a massive seal clubbing machine. Your dishing out 122mm of death while everything around you has 37MM canon's. It really needs to be moved up tier a bit.

That tank used to be 3.0 last I played it years ago. Long long before HE was ever worth using. Just like the M4A3 105 that used to be 3.0, it's incredibly effective and only takes half a brain cell to do so.

Day 10 of proposing the challenge I came up with to Odd: The challenge is called "Basket Bomb": Your goal is to accurately drop a bomb into any open top tanks' turret basket (e.g. M10 / M18 / the big german td's / the german AA's etc.)! Extra points if you use a very low-tier aircraft like a biplane, for the funnies. I think that would be extremely fun and it would make me so happy if you gave it a try

this AA is better than any german low to mid tier AA.....this AA is an absolute Chad of AA's period point blank....for an AA its better than oswind, zsu 52, or any single or dual caliber 20mm and up....not only does it have 4 guns the amount of ammo it carries compared to other AA's is mind boggling....while everything else runs out this has plenty left...it carries 3200 rounds everything else comparable to this carries around 1000....this thing absolutely slaps
