The M22 is one of the most iconic tanks in War Thunder. Known for its blinding speed and crazy mobility, this little guy is the bane of sluggish tanks existence.
I know at some point playing War Thunder an M22 has most definitely snuck up on you and did you dirty. So, in this episode that's exactly what I plan on doing! This thing is SO much fun to play and I hope you enjoy this hilarious experience I had in it! :)

This thing scares me. I was a jadpanzer, in stalingrad. I saw something in the corner of my eye behind a rubble, something speed past me. I try to hunt it, but the hunter became the hunted. An M22 jump over the rubble, I quickly turn my gun, panicked fire. I missed, it swerved left and right. Last second right in front of my barrel, I reloaded and panicked fired and hit his ammo. I had so many cases of nearly getting outplayed by an M22.

In that first game, that tiger 1 backing up is actually a really good play. Gaining that distance, if Odd decided to charge the tiger would have a better chance of hitting him, rather than a close quarters match where the M22 would easily be able to out manouver him and get to his side. That is smart.

Me and one of my buddies bum rushed the enemy spawn at 5.3 with a pair of m22s once, got something like 5 kills between us. I cannot get over the image of anthropomorphic M22 sprinting around Europe, and just straight executing Tigers and Panthers. “A clean shot, every time,” as he wipes the blood off of his pristine uniform.

M22 is my favorite tank and I love doing this. Also if you do this again try shooting just below the side skirt or between the upper and lower portions of the tracks it tends to be a bit easier to pen.

The M22, M3GMC, and P-26-M2 are my favorite things to use for hunting top tier vehicles. At around 9.0, armor starts decreasing, so you can kill tanks with 100lb bombs, and low tier tanks.

The lower side hull on the Tiger I is only 62mm I believe. If you aim below the side skirts, but above the tracks, you should get an easy pen.

I really wish the M22 had scouting, it's fun to use but hard to justify especially when the M24 is a thing. Edit a year later, the M18 Hellcat is also a light tank instead of a TD so yeah that's a thing too.
