I do the same minus the cake stand and vac. I just dry mine with 2 different microfibre towels. One for the first part and one for the rinse with distilled water. Leave to air dry under a fan on low. I use a magic eraser to clean my stylus too. Some people spend way too much and are way too fussy about cleaning records imo. These methods are absolutely fine, but sometimes you get some deep stuck on crud that can't be seen by eye baked into the grooves and these require an ultrasonic clean, but for 98% of dirty records this method is enough. Thanks Topper Cool video

Thank you very much Topper! This is a professional and affordable solution for cleaning records. Other sewer operators usually use very expensive record cleaning equipment. This is not an option for me. I also don't think it's good that the record companies have banned them from playing the records. How else do you want to prove that your cleaning concept works, if you are forbidden to play a song for at least 30 seconds? Every record cleaning Video has this problem. How nice could you do an Album presentation if you were allowed to play at least 30 seconds of a song? Then younger music fans would also get an impression of a good old Song. That also would be a very good advertising, especially for older artists who otherwise run the risk of being forgotten by the world. Nobody can advertise an Album as convincingly as a fan. But unfortunately the record companies don't want to understand that. I wish you all the best. Love and Peace! George ❤✌

Thanks OddBoxTopper. Your original version was very inspiring to me. However that was many years ago. I bough the items and used them maybe once or twice and put them aside. Over the past few weeks I'm back at this. I did what I recalled and it worked well, just the distilled water and some jet dry, spray it on, then the edger paint tool, mine has the pivot part, around and some back and forth, clean the edger under running water and then rinse it off record under running water. Wipe off with clean microfiber cloth, and then let air dry setting on it's edges. A few hours later play it. It looks very clean and plays fine, as fine as a used old record will. Still has the crackly and any scratches are still there, but no longer that gritty sound from a dirty record.

Personally, the first video I saw, the one where you start by apologising for the noise of the heater on what was obviously a old night, to be your finest. What a shame in this technological age, a video put on the Internet with the attention of helping others is subject to personal abuse from these so called trolls. That dishwashers with even destilled water only, will remove every dust ON record, not single one will stay, even static is gone. But that can not remove old dust stuck in grove. I recommend using that metod before and even after play, so if you are very careful, your record will have no dust at all.
