Damn, that last bit is so annoying when it happens in real life. My folks would be saying a dozen things _I_ "needed" to get done _just_ when I sat for 10 seconds after being all over the place for 5 hours. Since leaving 13 years ago I've noticed the house only gets touched up once in a blue moon. As for the _Family Guy_ universe itself, it can get irksome when Lois puts everything on Peter because we damn well know she's unemployed. Mundane things like tidying up takes only so long as Meg pointed out when the kids/parents swapped roles for a while. Meg went off on Lois saying obviously it's a house, a finite area, not cleaning the whole damn town.
