@@FXArts in case you need to add more breakers or replace a faulty breaker. during such scenarios, the electrician will cut off the ends because its already weakened during installation. if the core of the wire(the copper) breaks, a small arc may occur in the wire and lead to a fire. if a wire is short, one will have to use more connectors to extend existing wires but its not great( more point of failures) alternative is to run a new wire(costly and time consuming)

Beautiful job, but: - wire diameters are certainly not correct - feeding the breakers by jumping wires isn't the best solution at all - you should use wire terminals for the connections This video is actually teaching how to set your circuit on fire. At least it's a beautiful circuit.

The cable cross-sections for the supply of the automatic circuit breakers (above) are wrong. In Germany there are 3-pin prefabricated copper bridges for this. The blue wires for the N busbar have been cut too short without any reason. There should be more reserve loop behind the circuit breaker. While the work looks good, it is technically critical.

it depends on the project documentation, where the designer has specified for what output load he has designed the switchboard. Even in Slovakia it is true that you do not design for the maximum, but for the operation that is expected. So to say it is wrong is nonsense, if you are serious and you look at the manufacturers products, if one bridge is for 63A and another for 80A, which one would you put? If you don't know what's in the project documentation, then to jump to conclusions that something is wrong shows more likely that you have no idea what you're talking about and are just a "screwdriver user" and not an electrician ;)

And this is why (In the UK at least) a consumer Unit has to be installed by a qualified electrician. You won’t get a installation certificate or a satisfactory EICR because this consumer unit is just a fire hazard. I don’t think an EICR has enough space to list the issues with this install. I am not yet fully qualified and I can see many issues with this install.

@Dobai1
@Dobai1 Жыл бұрын
Formula for that is pretty simple, you multiply the section area of the conductor with 7 Amps/mm2 and there you have it. 10.5 Amps for 1.5 mm2 conductor, 17.5 Amps for 2.5 mm2. What goes above 4 mm2 is calculated with a different formula. But it can withold around 9KWh in continuous consumption.
@Ytofmayachev
@Ytofmayachev Жыл бұрын
@@Dobai1 I am an electrician. This formula doesn't account for tension loss over lenght or short circuit values, which are absolutly necessary for a stable and secure installation. While there are ways to circumvent those problems without changing the cross section of a cable, it feels safer to encourage talking to an electrician for tips especially in a comment section.

Why run three phase to the unit and only use one of it? Why type C breakers? These have much more stringent Zs readings to ensure they trip in time - a problem if you have long cable runs at times. Only usually required if you have high inrush situations that would cause a B type to trip too easily
