Anyone else find it satisfying to watch him trim the Frog? Like you can feel the horses relief?

in a world full of silly people only care to make and follow pranks channels, it is really so satisfying to see someone serious enough and masters his profession like so. gratitude Mr farrier

I am impressed that you can carefully line up the horse shoe and pound in the nails without hurting the horse. I am not sure I could have that kind of eye hand coordination.

Another nice lookin job on a nice lookin foot. I like your sanding attachment on your drill, I don't recollect seeing anyone else using one like that, and the hoof oil is always a nice touch. 🐎👍🇺🇸

You do great work! I do have one question though. Whats the reason for your 3 lateral and two medial nail combination? Is that something the client asks for?
@fernandolozanocuenca40772 жыл бұрын
No es por el cliente , normalmente es así, aunque cada maestrillo tiene su librillo.

I wonder why the shoe is always fixed slight back from the tip of the toe

How much time does it takes in one hoof
@kevjo132 жыл бұрын
When u 🔨 the shoe on the anvil why do u always hit the anvil 2 or 3 times before u hit the shoe? Each time u move the shoe u do it so i Wasn't sure if it was habit or for was a reason.
@omeezy212 жыл бұрын
I think it’s to center it to ensure he’s making contact precisely where he wants to hit it
@bogdan90572 жыл бұрын
What i know/heard it is rhythm of hitting anvil and shoe. Blacksmith often work with helper, they hit with hammers object they forged. Blacksmith hit anvil not hitting the object to keep sound in rhythm at very close interval that is the custom of blacksmiths. Blacksmiths did farrier jobs around horses years ago and farrier is a blacksmith now too. Complicated, yes.

I like your videos 👍 What state are you in?
@afshinfarahbakhsh37732 жыл бұрын
Okay, I've watched probably every single one of your videos and I can't work out how you make the nail turn and come out the side like it does. Is it curved? The nails look straight. Also, what do you brush on the hoof after you're done? That might be my favorite part aside from trimming the frogs.
@TheLongrangeshooter2 жыл бұрын
Quick answer to the nail question, the hoof wall isnt straight up and down, its angled. When the nail goes straight in, itll come out

Burning the shoe on the hoof must smell bad. Since they’re both made of keratin I assume it smells like burnt hair. Anyone who knows can y’all confirm?
@omegamon02392 жыл бұрын
I've hear others say it is a good smell on other videos, however it might still be a "bad" smell like gun smoke but is still "good" because of the emotions it triggers from the context
