I really like this system because it is chemical free and leaves no chemical residue as a result to the operation. This is a very desirable advance in keeping the environment a little bit less negatively impacted by chemicals.

The dirty secret they're not telling you is that heavy rust requires mechanical abrasion first, and sometimes even after laser cleaning. The plasma produced by the laser converts the surface of heavier rust into an unknown grey material (carbon probably), but if you scrape it mechanically, you'll find rust underneath. I know this first hand.

I would love to see someone use it in household cleaning tasks. Burnt residue on baking sheet, dish cleaning, cleaning a tub, dusting. Overkill? Yes.....Satisfying? I think so.

this would be extremely useful for people that do restaurant exhaust systems, would save them so much labor, health issues and resources later on

Impressive on the face of it, but probably not in the price range for domestic/hobbyists applications, and then power usage would also be of interest, as far as it being economical by comparison to the usual methods!

Retina destruction occurs faster than your blink reflex. Even with goggles or a mask you will feel fine on the day but suffer cataracts later.
Operators should use gas masks to avoid breathing the evaporated rust, paint or whatever they're cleaning
