Makes sense that a diplomat to a people like the Glukkons would learn to either gamble or officiate auctions, if not both. The only thing a Glukkon likes more than _making_ tons of money is _spending_ tons of money on frivolities in front of a crowd of awed spectators.

I hope you do a video on Humphrey and Irwin in the future. I feel like there’s a lot to talk about with those two. For example; I think about the good ending of munch’s oddysee a lot. In the lore and in a couple of instances of Dear Alf, it’s said that vykkers are incredibly vain and lack any empathy towards each-other or other living things. To the point that they only form aliences with each-other for either self preservation or business partnerships and have even evolved to be self-impregnateing hermaphrodites, being able to reproduce asexually without a second party. With all that in mind, the fact that, when confronted with being blown up by a ticking time bomb, rather then one running away and abandoning the other to find a way out like you’d expect any self-preserving, vain Vykker would, Humphrey and Irwin hold eachother in thier final moments... honestly speaks volumes to me. Maybe, despite their self-centred natures, their cruelty towards other living things and their constant arguing with each-other, Humphrey and Irwin genuinely cared about each-other more then they let on? I dunno, maybe I’m reading too deeply into it. (Plustheywerejerksanywaysodeservedtogetbloenuplol)

Personally, I think the biggest exception to the "obscenely sadistic Vykker" is Doc, from Stranger's Wrath. He isn't really depicted doing anything overtly evil; the closest thing to evil he does is browbeating Stranger into paying an exorbitant fee for his operation. It's even implied that Doc kept Stranger's true nature a secret, knowing full well that doing so would ultimately get him killed.

What if.....Headley did but didn't die? Like, 'Headley' as in, 'the person named Headley is dead' but not the 'person'. He took a new identity, got out, became someone else..... It should be noted that working as a medical scientist is a very common profession within the vykkers society so much so that it kinda looses its meaning or value, so it would make logical sense that someone like headley who goes against the stereotypical norm with his line of work is viewed by theyre species as a very important member.

I think there's a distinction between "nice" and "polite". Headley, as a liaison, is definitely polite. However, considering the fact he's complacent in the sale of the last can of gabbiar, the eggs of an ostensibly sapient species, I don't think calling him nice or kind is fitting. I mean, he has to know that gabbits are presumed to be extinct or critically endangered, right?

I wonder how much of Munch's oddyssey is going to show up in the games following Soulstorm. There's either going to be a DLC or new game committed to Abe following Sam, but Munch's Oddyssey is probably THE oddworld game that has the most ports (e.g. apple, nintendo, pc, etc.).

Headley's teeth look much nicer then most vykkers who have an ugly underbite, while it's never shown that vykkers have orthodontist they probably do it painfully.

Despite Headley being like a minor character in the game, I'm actually obsessed with him due to his cordial and gentle traits. I'd say he's a kind gent with different intentions and just wants everyone to get along. Probably the type of bloke you'd want to have a drink with. I don't think he'd have any intentions of harming Abe and Munch. He'd probably think of that as too gentlemanly. Suffice to say, I use him a lot in my fanfictions (no not that kind! Calm down!) In my stories, he's still kind and polite but won't fight back due to his gentlemanly personality. In fact he'll at first cower in fear when he sees Abe after a long time since the Lab explosion only to warm up to him after he talk it out. Hey, it's what he does in auctions.
