Clever way to embrace his interests if not quirky. PA has need for lighthouses. Recall in the 1930s if Bedford County had a lighthouse the Grand View along Rte 30 would not have shipwrecked on the side of a mountain. As a kid had a good open roast beef lunch there so some good came of it... but a lighthouse would have a cool view.

Couple fun facts. The mound that it sits on was where they would load the gravel crushing plant. Also, we have an excavation company near tionesta and my dad actually dug the basement for the lighthouse, and we also stacked up the rock pile which the Statue of Liberty sits on. Jack and the family are very good friends of ours.

As someone who is from NW PA and now living in the beautiful mountains of Juniata County, I really enjoyed this video. Have spent time on the cable stayed dock shown in the video just watching the Allegheny River flow by. Grandparents had a cabin off of Rt 62 up towards Tidioute. Love this area. Kinzua dam and Hearts Content virgin forest are worth seeing if in the area.
