I recorded my first tries and failed horribly even in Easy Mode. I wrote down my first impressions and uploaded it. I had in mind that people, who were still waiting for the game, could see some footage of the new stages. Please don't complain about "Easy Mode". Without it, we would have never experienced Cirno's siganture spellcard "Icicle Fall".

The Guy Like most trick spellcards it's not that hard after learning a good strategy. Focus on finding a sustainable pattern that you can maintain almost indefinitely, even if it's not hitting very hard for damage. IIRC, the trick is slowing a few bullets per wave just enough so that a gap appears, but not so much that they remain on screen for a long time and get on your way. Alternate between the right and left side so that the slowed bullets of the previous wave have time to move away.

That was the only spell I didn't die to. Both Hell Eclipse and Flash and Stripe took at LEAST 30 tries, and her last one got me a couple times, not to mention her second to last getting me a fair few times before I figured out how to deal with it, but that one wasn't that bad.

I probably spent a good 30-40 min on that last spellcard. It's horrific, even on easy. It'd be doable if the moons were slower and were more of an obstruction(Like Okuu's Suns) versus being practically bullets with large hitboxes. I'd have to say ZUN is trolling with these games, he has to be enjoying himself on these videos.

That last spell isn't actually that bad if you circle the screen, following the group of three moons. You only have to dodge through one set of bullets each burst, since the spinning moons destroy the rest.

As a person who 1cc'd the game in both Pointdevice and Legacy modes on Normal I can safely say this is actually not that hard of a Touhou game, mostly because of the broken bombs and huge amounts of Life Pieces. SA and DDC still are and will probably the hardest. And yeah, this video gave me a big laugh. I love those kinds of montages~

VictiniExpert2400 Funny, I found UFO actually very easy. The trick is, you need to focus on collecting the Red UFOs. At the end of Stage 3, I had 9 lives already. I never 1cc'd DDC, mostly because of the stupid PoC lives system that makes you kamikaze into a wall of bullets.

We'll see in a few days, but I don't think so. About Touhou 15, the difficulty spike is a compromise for the introduction of an alternative mode aimed at beginners. The ones used to infinite lives with checkpoints idea in compensation with higher difficulty from games like Super Meat Boy or I Wanna Be That Guy. Playing LoLK normally is like if you forego the infinite lives for something like the Super Mario series 1-Up + power-up system for a game like Super Meat Boy.

Touhou 7. I can Beat this game on normal without using a continue Touhou 15. Loses On the stage 5 boss used up all continues ON EASY. I do sometimes get to stage 6 though and honestly that boss is even harder.
