As German, I musst say it's incredible. I know some of my fellows, who can't even speak or even sing the same thing with such good pronunciation. 👍🏻 It's just funny that only a few other languages has the letters 'ö, ü, ä' and even less can pronounce them😂

The pronunciation is accurate. Maybe some people like a less understandable pronunciation, but this is a question of taste- or is it a question of professionality? The colour of his vowels fits perfectly. For me, to flat renditions like Dortmund accent of German dont work for classic texts. People back then were speakers of dialect, German Standard was created by them. So definitely, they would not have pronounced the ode like the news or a podcast. I approve of the pronunciation. We can discuss articulation concerning the musical genre now. But phonetically, almost nothing to improve. Just an opinion, but with a background of infos

@@LaetareIerusalem Typically we are directed to always over due the diction so the people in the back of the hall can still hear the words. Which I would agree with the opinion for the OP's comments, it doesnt translate well to a recording, it sounds over chewed. But this is a live art form, unfortunately we can't capture the brilliance of an operatic voice with a microphone quite yet.
