What’s your master/mix bus processing doing? I’m just wondering how much of that gorgeously compressed sound is coming from the plugin vs master compression and whatnot. Absolutely insane dude, sounds great!

@jacee8094 I do like 3-4db of ssl compression with the sidechain up at 200hz on the "band bus" which drums, bass and guitar. Then my main master has OTT at like 15-20% fast attack and then dialed to taste Then Saturn for some colour and then flatline clipping on hybrid mode like 4-5db So yeah there is a bit of compression happening but the plugin tones are quite compressed sounding

@bimchlasnaga8583 I change the approach almost every time For tuning im doing it Post with Gojiras transpose Then all the weird pitched up noises are a seperate instance of gojira with the whammy and ALOT of other fx

@Medeses13 shells are all around 85-95 for the most part except for some hard accents which are up at like 110. Cymbals are all over 110 The blast part was like 15 or something. It was a very fine line on the velocity for the snare there

What kind of processing is on the guitars for the scratchy bits to give it that tone? Sounds so sick. Are you using rotary effects? I’ve been trying to figure this out forever.

@sanskaraunofficial an ungodly amount of bullshit tbh Alot of it is the gojira whammy into a ring mod Some of the more cooked sounds are like Chorus->16th note delay->whammy->ring mod No particular settings I just messed with them until they sound good

@@KyeBlomeley thanks for the info, would love to see you breakdown the chain on that one, are you using the octave pedal and phatso setting on the gojira plugin? What kind of chorus and ring mod? Is it all automated on certain parts of the riffs?

@sanskaraunofficial it's way to much detail for a comment tbh. I didn't use anything in particular, I just threw a bunch of stuff on and messed with the settings until I liked the sounds. Yes it's got an incredible amount of automation on and off for each little noise
