Heard this song for the first time on the way to the ER with my son. He was dying, his body shutting down. I had no idea how dire it was at the time, only that something severe was happening. This song became my anthem during his three long days in the ICU and two additional days in the hospital. He survived, and is doing well now but it was a hellish time that this song gave me hope through. Thank you for creating such powerful music.

When my mother was dying of pancreatic cancer in 2020, I was so heartbroken because I kept thinking about how much she loved life and thrived on the beauty of nature. She loved the birds, the trees, the clouds, the sun… and it would literally break my heart to think that she wouldn’t be able to appreciate nature once she died. Until….. one day on my drive to work, I had an epiphany! I realized that she would BECOME all of nature… one and the same… seamlessly as SPIRIT, she would become those very things in nature she so loved! I felt a deep peace in my heart and almost Instantly my heart started to heal…. It is true… Separation only exists in the 3 dimensional world. This is so beautiful and powerful! Thank you for this masterpiece!

After losing my husband to cancer, this song and video really hits home. As he struggles to get to the top, just like my late husband. He was over taken by this shiny object, as he struggles, to get free, it's the same as Mark was struggling from the cancer to break free. Never have I ever in all my life been so emotionally moved by an animated music video. Odesza has been a coping skill for me for almost a decade. And when listening to every single song, each one holds such personal value to me! Thank you so much Odesza for being with me in all of these years. I find this video very profound and heartwarming. I interpret it this way. Life is an experience that we all share as living beings but it doesn't matter neither the time or space, good or bad things, it is just ''life'', at the end, our ''death'' just transforms into another types of life, for example our bodies degrade into particles to become the fertilizer of a tree and then a root/branch, as shown in the video, and the cycle repeats infinitely. I recommend trying to enjoy every part of this experience called ''life'' in this tough times and don't be worried about death, because at the end we will not die, we will become part of this amazing and complex universe. Enjoy!

This is it. The person desperately seeks nothing more than the unification with everything. And the individual fears nothing more than the re-unification with everything there is, for it is no longer after that. This video and music express this fundamental struggle of the individual person more beautifully than anything I have ever experienced. This is it. It is what it is. Thank you so much for that.
