You know, it's funny. I used to listen to nothing but Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal for the longest time. But lately, I've been opening up to more music; and I'm glad I made that decision. I've recently got introduced to ODESZA, and Flume by a friend of mine, and another artist by the name of Blackmill; and these artists honestly changed the way I thought about music. Back then, I never would of thought I'd get into music like this. But this right here, is amazing! Like, where has this been all my life? So as of lately, I've strayed away from my normal tastes in music, and have been listening to this. I believe this was the shift in music that I needed. Ps: Oh, and in case you were wondering. 'White Lies' was my first ODESZA song. I've since I first heard it, I loved it. And now I practically love all their songs! :D

Dude I literally spent the first 17 or so years of my life listening to Rock, Metal, Prog rock etc like Linkin Park, Metallica, even Pink Floyd. Back then I slowly got introduced to Liquid Dubstep and chillstep and it's insane how I've lived so long without hearing this. My first song that I heard relating to this genre was Velvetine - Great Divide (Seven Lions Remix). I recommend you check it out! Plus I have a public playlist on my channel with loads of stuff like this!

it was 2015 when I first heard this album. Weeks before my life changed, I was a tri-sport athlete in one of the best highschools in the state, had friends in all the groups, and a 3.8 GPA thinking about colleges and majors. Then in a matter of a few months, I dropped out, lost all of my friends, lost the sports, and started smoking every second of everyday. It was dark and lonely. I had no idea what to do anymore, where to go, how to live. This album along with a few other similar artists were the only things that stuck around. 6 years later, I've got friends, a girlfriend (which, yes, is unusual for me), a very active job, and I've just begun college for Architecture. This song brought me to tears because I feel like I've come full circle. I'm late to the game but I'm starting over. I pray to God I can stick with it.

Usually, after I've listened to a certain album or artist for a while, I begin to grow tired of their music, and I will completely stop listening to them. ODESZA is the single artist that I will never get bored of. Their music is simply magical, my life would not be the same without them.

I was just listening to this song for the first time. It feels like an awakening, if you were to give it a sound track. My best friend moved into my house a couple of weeks ago and this song was making me think of him. We are polar opposites, but the bond we share is incredible. He has been very quick to remind me of how important it is to live my life instead of resigning to the "work, sleep, repeat" cycle we all get stuck in. He has awoken me and I'm already feeling more carefree and enjoying the little things more. We lived together 15 years ago and taught each other a lot. It's good to have him around after so long. I just hit your comment and tears started streaming down my face. You just made me cherish him even more. I'm really sorry for your loss. I hope you're still listening.

LYRICS: Let's go out on the street. Let's go out on the street. You take me away, Faces, faces, they fade, Love, love, love, stays, Here, here, I'll take. Cross my heart and hope to die, If you ever catch me in a white lie. I lay me down in the tall grass, Tangled in the weeds in my messy bed. If you come and you come, Come and, come and, if you, if you~ Let's go out on the street. Bring me under the soil in the, in the roots I toil, Trial, crying, trying to show, Break through watch as I grow~ Cross my heart and hope to die, If you'd ever catch me in a white lie. I lay me down in the tall grass, Tangled in the weeds of my messy bed.

I remember. The first time I heard this song, I saw something. It was a flashback of my life in a span of four and a half minutes. It was great. Just imagining my life as a kid again. Having to hear the laughter in life to the screaming and yelling heartbreak of family. This song basically got me "music high" if that is a thing. Just sitting down, blacking out, thinking about life and living life all over again. Music can impact you one way or another, and this song really made that statement.

Thanks SURFER POLLfor share this amazing music. When the surfer Coco Ho wins her prize, they put this in background joining with her surfing footage. AMAZING.

Will be so happy to see them at Electric Forest 2019 in Michigan. Every past year they've managed to melt my heart a little more.

if there was such thing as organic, kosher, gluten free music...this would be it lol. it feels/sounds so natural, and refreshing.

kosher? there is nothing natural about killing a cow by letting it bleed to an agonising death by slitting its throat.

This song hits me in a deep way. It's like my mind is just going on an emotional adventure of the good and the bad flashbacks in life, as it tells a story of where I am at today without me saying a word.
