It must be a blessing every time I go through some sort of breakup, Odeza has a new album that saves me a bit. The last time was back in 2017 with A moment apart, and recently this week losing someone all over again. Wanting someone to forgive you but no way to express it, always relevant in some way too. Thanks Odeza, for all the blessings.

I’ve played this song in the background and looked at myself in the mirror forgiving myself for the mess I’ve made “But your the one I love deep inside” telling myself I really am the only one that loves me for who I am deep inside! while looking at the mirror and dancing was magical and thankful I did that!!! Ever since that experience with myself I’ve been healing and being more gentle with myself. Thanks Odesza for really powerful music I have many stories to share because of your music but Forgive Me is my #1 special song to me.

If you like this and it helps you keep goin you should check out this band called Miike Snow. 3 guys, songwriting/producing duo Bloodshy & Avant and the vocalist Andrew Wyatt who also writes and produces. B&A have written and produced for Britney Spears, we can thank them for Toxic, Jlo, Katy Perry, Kelis, Kylie Minogue and they wrote and produced 4 or 5 of Britney Spears albums. We can thank them for Toxic! And Andrew has written/produced for Charli xcx, Miley, Bruno mars, major lazer, mark ronson, lil Wayne, lykke li, dua lipa, lorde, jungle (another band i HIGHLY recommend especially their first 2 albums), Flume, beck, lady gaga- he wrote and produced her song shallow and tons more. Their music is so unique. Hits me right in the feelers and while the lyrics are usually kinda sad it also soothes me. They have a perfect balance of chill songs and ones to pump you up. They only have 3 albums, but all 3 are absolutely spectacular. Their music videos are so fun and creative the one for Genghis Khan is amazing. And the wave, black and blue and paddling out. K im shutting up now just realized how long this comment is ha. I hope you give em a try and fall in love!

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (Psalms 51:1-4)

bruh....its like nice to hear while shopping out and about, but it's a little surface level overall imo. doesn't move very far away from the baseline emotion imo. just similar wavelength vocal cuts. but i do think this is definitely a different vibe than odesza has put out before and has a lot of unique sounds compared to past songs

This album is over 50% vocal sampling, which gets old. A disappointing album when Odesza's stronger assets reside in magical and lifting instrumentals. This just sounds like an Ibiza club list.
