Hi Ore Deposits Hub Thank you for uploading this talk and thanks to Eduardo also for sharing such an interesting research. I am a master student in Russia and I think the question Eduardo was asked about the timing of sulfide saturation with respect to crystallization of silicate melt was very fascinating. One approach I can come up with is perhaps to look for some competing elements (Trace?) between both liquids like the one mentioned: Nickel (Ni) which has a partition coefficient favorable for Olivine and also for Sulfide liquid then with help of data base and tenors of different deposits we may achieve some sort of coefficient. I consider important to evaluate whether the saturation was reached before crystallization of any mineral from the silicate melts e.g. Chromite, Magnetite, Olivine, Pyroxene, Biotite or if saturation was Syn or Epi (post) saturation of sulfide; all these stages should be reflected in someway in the chemistry of the sulfides. So, let's take a look at the early forming minerals probably they can tell something about sulfide liquids forming too late to reach good tenors or early enough to be enriched with PGE, Ni, Cu, Zn, Co, etc.
