There are a number of reasons for that. 1) Extra silver does not hurt the inquart - a shortage will. It risks the gold passivating some of the silver so that it is trapped in the gold during the nitric acid digestion. 2) If the silver is obtained from jewelry, much of it contains solders, which reduces the calculated silver content. 3) The manufacturer is allowed some tolerance on the silver fineness. The manufacturer will use the least amount of silver necessary to meet the minimum fineness requirement - thus minimizing the cost. 4) The excess silver is recovered later and requires no additional chemicals when using the electrolytic silver recovery method.

Here is an idea. Build a shelf shaped as the periodic table. Then fill the shelves with every single element you own and strive to acquire the ones you don’t

Do you think it's possible to extract metallic iron from blood? If you used your own blood it would probably get more hits but cow or pig blood is probably safer/easier to obtain...
@AliYassinToma7 жыл бұрын
u can but thats disgusting
@skr42077 жыл бұрын
The levels of iron in our blood are microscopic, what is the point.
@nathanbinns63457 жыл бұрын
Skr 420 ah yes you are right! I googled it and apparently even adult males have only a few grams of iron in their entire body, including the blood. I always assumed it was a lot more than that.
@AliYassinToma7 жыл бұрын
But still u can
@elijahdement98907 жыл бұрын
Yeah. There are four iron atoms in every hemoglobin. There is not actually very much iron in the blood.
